Who doesn't love an animal in a hat?

Hold on to your hats! This month we published We Found a Hat by Jon Klassen, the Kate Greenaway-winning creator of I Want My Hat Back and This Is Not My Hat.

Two turtles have found a hat. The hat looks good on both of them. But there are two turtles. And there is only one hat...

It turns out it’s not only turtles, bears and fish that can look dashing in hats. Here at Walker HQ, our animal-loving team took home some pop-out hats and tried them for size on their furry (and not-so-furry) friends. Check out some of our favourite hat snaps!

The conclusion to Jon Klassen’s hat trilogy is both hilarious and heart-warming, the shifting eyes of the two turtles telling the tale through three perfectly paced parts.  Jon Klassen’s deceptive simplicity and deliciously deadpan humour is woven into the narrative and will surprise readers with an unexpected new twist at the end…

Take a sneak peek inside the book in the animated trailer:

We're not the only ones in love with this book - The New York Times think it's "the best and most stirring in his hat trilogy". Check out the full book review here.
